The political atmosphere of Ajaba Ward 11, Ila Local Government, was enlivened earlier today as Hon. Chief Adeniyi Ismail Oluwatosin (AIO), a towering figure in grassroots politics and a philanthropic stalwart across Boluwaduro, Ifedayo, and Ila Federal Constituency, paid a historic courtesy visit to the ward.
The visit, which drew enthusiastic party faithful and community members, was not only a gesture of solidarity but also an avenue for the APC chieftain to reiterate his unshakable dedication to ensuring a new dawn of progress, inclusiveness, and prosperity for the people.
In his address, Hon. Oluwatosin appreciated the indomitable resilience and steadfast loyalty of the people of Ward 11 who, despite challenges and the reality of not being in the corridors of power at present, have remained unshaken in their love for the All Progressives Congress (APC). He extolled their sacrifices and charged them to continue promoting the ideals of the progressive family, assuring them that the time of reward is near, and when it comes, it shall be sustained for generations.
In a momentous declaration, the philanthropist revealed his intent to contest for the exalted position of Honourable Member, House of Representatives, Abuja, affirming that the voice of Ila, Ifedayo, and Boluwaduro must once again echo vibrantly at the national stage. With optimism and conviction, he assured the people that their long-nurtured aspirations shall be fulfilled through his candidature.
The visit also afforded an opportunity for members of the ward to pour out their heartfelt appreciation. Mr. Sikiru, a ward executive and former Assistant Organizing Secretary of the APC at the state level, lauded the Chief’s remarkable efforts, particularly referencing his recently celebrated birthday, during which he spearheaded a landmark empowerment program that brought succor to over 400 beneficiaries. He prayed fervently for his longevity, wellness, and the actualization of his political aspirations.
In a similar vein, Mr. Lateef, another ward executive, extolled the Chief’s consistency in uplifting people, praying for Allah’s blessings upon him. Mr. Afeez, reflecting on the painful betrayal the ward had experienced in the past by politicians who abandoned them after benefiting from their loyalty, urged Hon. Oluwatosin to continue on his well-known path of sincerity, philanthropy, and genuine service. He stressed that the ward is firmly and solidly behind AIO, seeing in him the much-needed hope for the constituency.
Notably, two women leaders of the ward also lent their voices, showering encomiums on the Chief while praying that Almighty Allah crown him with the diadem of victory in his political journey.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks and closing prayer offered by the ward chairman, after which the entourage paid a humble homage to the Owaloja of Kajola Ajaba, where they received a warm and royal reception, further cementing the bond between tradition, politics, and community.
The visit to Ajaba Ward 11 not only reinforced Hon. Chief Adeniyi Ismail Oluwatosin’s credibility as a bridge-builder and visionary leader but also rekindled the hope of the people that true representation rooted in compassion, accountability, and development is within reach.
