The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer National Inland Waterways Authority, NIWA, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji, popularly called AMBO, has felicitated former Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Hon. Sunday Akere on the occasion of his 64th birthday anniversary.
Oyebamiji, a leading aspirant of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the forthcoming governorship election in Osun State, extolled Akere’s sociopolitical, democratic and administrative sagacity and prowess, describing him as a “rare breed, enigmatic being, astute politician, seasoned administrator and professional.”
The NIWA boss acknowledged the tremendous achievements made by the celebrant while serving as Information Commissioner and Special Adviser on political matters to ex-Governor Adegboyega Oyetola CON, current Minister of Marine and Blue Economy.
