Hundreds of beneficiaries of Ilerioluwa free medical outreach on Tuesday extolled the donors and organisers of the exercise just as they described it as top-notch, life- impacting and unprecedented.

The beneficiaries, closing to a thousand people who couldn’t hide their feelings upon receiving the free medical attention on various ailments, eulogized the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Adegboyega, his friends and associates for putting up the laudable initiative designed to enhance healthy living of the people, particularly the downtrodden and less-privileged in the state.

This is just as the head of the medical team, Prof. Siji Olamiju, expressed delight in the outstanding performance of the health practitioners assembled for the exercise, saying they are “top-notch professionals.”

Recall that the committee of friends and political associates of the Osun state former Governor and current Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Adegboyega Oyetola, had earlier announced the sponsorship and funding of series of events to commemorate the 70th birthday anniversary of the Minister in a moderate style, believing to be inline with the celebrant’s belief.

Hence, the committee held a press conference on Monday to properly inform and intimate members of the public to the scheduled programmes for the celebration with a flag-off of medical outreach targeting to impact over 4000 people in the three senatorial districts of the state.

Expressing their profound satisfaction over the quality of free medical service delivery held at Tinubu/Shettima Campaign Office, Ogo-Oluwa, Osogbo, some of the beneficiaries of the free medical and surgical service acknowledged the quality and standard of the service rendered affirming that the organisers really meant well for the people as they were met at their various points of health need.

Some of the beneficiaries who spoke intermittently to the pressmen after being treated on various ailments, implored the organisers to sustain the tempo of sponsorship on regular basis to expand the number of beneficiaries.

One of the beneficiaries, Mr Jimoh Aremu Oguntoye, applauded the medical team for a diligent job, describing the gesture as unprecedented.

Commenting, Prof. Olamiju commended the entire process just as he appreciated high sense of professionalism exhibited by the professionals that administered the free health care services.

He enjoined the people to follow the trends of events as being outlined by the organisers of the medical outreach as the team would be moving to Geriatric Centre in Ilesa on Wednesday while it would be the turn of Iwo on Thursday as well as Iragbiji on Friday.

Earlier, the Committee Chairman of the Oyetola’s 70th Birthday Anniversary and former Speaker, Osun State House of Assembly, Hon. Timothy Owoeye expressed delight in the entire medical exercise just as he lauded the medical team for a “job well done.”
