A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress in Osun and the founder of Romeo Foundation, Prince Muideen Abdulrasheed, popularly known as ROMEO, has stepped up mobilisation efforts for the All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of the August 8, 2026 Osun State governorship election, showcasing total support for the governorship project of Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO), the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state.

The APC chieftain and frontline 2027 House of Representatives aspirant, affirmed his commitment to robust grassroots engagement, noting that sustained mobilisation at the ward, unit and community levels remains key to securing victory for the party in 2026.

As part of his support for the AMBO campaign, Romeo donated 2,000 campaign caps, which he personally presented to the APC governorship flag bearer during the Inauguration of Renewed Hope Ambassadors Local Government Coordinators, recently held in Osogbo.

Romeo, a notable grassroot mobilization, youth advocate and staunch support of the AMBO project described the ambition of Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji as a masses oriented project, one built on the drive to bring good governance to Osun, restore hope to the people of the state and delivering dividends of democracy to the good people of Osun State.

He emphasized that his long-standing involvement in grassroots mobilisation and youth advocacy are borne out of his conviction to galvanise widespread support for the APC across Osogbo Federal Constituency and other parts of the state, noting that the APC remains the only credible alternative to the lacklustre leadership which the state is presently experiencing, just as he believes that strengthening the party’s structures at the grassroot ahead of the governorship poll is necessary to guarantee overwhelming victory for the party at the poll.

Conclusively, Romeo affirmed that the APC remains the most credible platform to deliver good governance and restore progressive leadership in Osun State, assuring party members that all hands will remain on deck to secure a resounding victory for AMBO at the polls.
